Recruitment racket using 'Job Hai' App busted in Delhi; police recover above 100 resumes, Aadhaar cards
New Delhi, June 24 The Cyber Police Station in Shahdara has uncovered a fake job scam that tricked job seekers by pretending to offer jobs at well-known companies like Zepto through a dishonest app named 'Job Hai.' The scam was run by a group called 'Treasure Find Solution,' defrauding victims of thousands of rupees.
The issue arose when a 19-year-old from Bhola Nath Nagar responded to a YouTube ad for the app. After applying for a cashier position, he was contacted by a man posing as HR, who invited him for an interview. Over ten days, the victim paid Rs 9,000 for registration and processing fees, but when he refused to pay more, the scammers blocked him.
After the victim reported the scam, the police registered a case and quickly identified the main suspect, Rahul, who operates the fake agency with his wife Seema. Rahul has been arrested, but Seema is still at large. The police found numerous fake documents at their office. They have advised the public to always check job offers and not to send money without verification.
