Pallavi Patel won the 2022 election from Sirathu assembly seat against Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. On February 2, 2022, Samajwadi Party had earlier announced of candidature for west Allahabad seat of Prayagraj or Sadar seat of Pratapgarh district, but later Pallavi Patel filed her nomination from Sirathu seat.
