Katarzyna Anna "Kasia" Smutniak (born 13 August 1979) is a Polish actress and model. She starred in the movie From Paris with Love. She speaks fluent Polish, Russian, English and Italian.
Life and career
Smutniak was born in Piła, Poland. Her father served in the Polish Air Force. At 16, she obtained a glider pilot's license.
In 2000, she debuted in the film At the Right Moment, directed by Giorgio Panariello, and in 2003 she performed in Radio West.
In 2004, she had a daughter, Sophie, with Italian actor Pietro Taricone, who later died in an accident in 2010. In 2014, she had her son, Leone, with Italian film producer Domenico Procacci, and the couple later married in September 2019. In addition to Polish, Kasia is fluent in Russian, English and Italian.
